UK Ship Register Information for Customers

The UK is leaving the EU on 31 January with a ratified Withdrawal Agreement. The Agreement includes a transition period until the end of December which is designed to provide continuity to businesses and citizens while the UK and EU negotiate a longer relationship. During the transition period, EU law will continue to have the same effect in the UK as in Member States. This includes the cabotage regulation 3577/1992. So, UK businesses will continue to have the same rights that they have now under the Regulation until the end of the year.

Customers are advised to refer to The European Commission guidance for information on the immediate situation.
