If a vessel is currently registered with the UK Ship Register and have created an account but you would like to remove it from the registry this can now be processed online.
If your vessel is already registered with the UK Ship Register but you have not yet signed up online, you will first need to claim your vessel to allow you to then remove it from the registry online.
To remove your vessel from the registry via email or post, please download and complete the application and send us the application to remove form.
If you have recently bought the vessel and the ownership change has not been recorded by the UK Ship Register, you will also need to provide proof of ownership.
There is no fee to close a vessel’s registration.
