UKSR announces its second year of Sponsorship of the Maritime UK Awards

We are delighted to be sponsoring the Maritime UK Awards for the second year running. This year the awards ceremony set to be held In Plymouth, with an autumn date still to be announced.

The Maritime UK Awards are run by industry for the benefit of industry. They are open to companies from across the breadth of the maritime sector and its shipping, ports, services, engineering, and leisure marine industries. They have a highly respected industry panel of internationally recognised maritime leaders who will perform the judging.

The UK Ship Register will once again be sponsoring the ‘Innovation Award’ .The award is open to a business, charity or organisation of any size, that can demonstrate exceptional true commitment to innovation and prove how they have innovated to solve a particular challenge, create a new product or service to benefit the maritime sector.

Members of the UK Ship Register team will be in Plymouth to hand over the award to the winners at the ceremony later this year. Plymouth an area of maritime, contributes £3.8bn to the economy and supports 108,500 jobs.
