We’re delighted to be announcing the UK Ship Registers sponsorship of the UK Chamber of Shipping Annual Dinner next February.

The UK shipping industry is vital to the UK economy. It contributes over £14 billion annually, supports an estimated 86,000 jobs and transports 95% of the UK’s trade.

The UK Chamber’s Annual Dinner is the premier black-tie event in the shipping calendar and provides the opportunity to network with colleagues and celebrate its ongoing success. Last year’s event attracted over 800 guests from across the industry.

Katy Ware, Director of Maritime Safety and Standards at the Maritime & Coastguard Agency said:

“We’re delighted to be sponsoring the UK Chamber of Shipping Annual Dinner and supporting an innovative and evolving UK maritime sector. The team at the UK Ship Register have a renewed focus on building long term relationships with the UK Maritime industry, which will become increasingly important as we look to evolve and support our customers’ operational needs.”

Tony Jerome, Head of Business Development at the UK Chamber of Shipping said:

“We are delighted to have secured the UK Ship Register as the main dinner sponsor for our Annual Dinner. The UK Ship Register is a vital part in the overall success of the UK shipping industry, and we thank them for their ongoing support.

“The Annual Dinner, which last year attracted nearly 800 guests from industry and government, really is the number one shipping event of the year and tickets are now on sale.”

The UK Ship Register is committed to building on the UK Flag’s foundations for quality and safety to bring the industry a modern, customer-focused flag with a range of advantages. Looking forward they have a renewed focus, working much more closely with customers and industry, creating long term sustainable partnerships to grow the UK Flag and support the UK Maritime industry.
